Freedom and Opportunity to Thrive

This campaign has already started to build a future that we are proud to pass down. Through organizing, showing up, and sharing our stories, we can save our democracy, support our community, and protect the Montana Way of Life that we are cherish.

  • Government should work for people, not insiders, political games, or the loudest voices in the room. Montanans deserve honest leadership, open decision-making, and a government that respects both the public and the Constitution.

    We can:

    • promote open government, honest decision-making, and real public input

    • insist on stronger accountability for how taxpayer dollars are spent

    • defend fair courts, the rule of law, and the separation of powers

  • Too many Montanans are working hard and still can’t get ahead. Housing costs too much. Healthcare costs too much. And when people hit a rough patch, the consequences can be devastating.

    We can:

    • create incentives and deliver resources so communities can build workforce and affordable housing that fits local needs

    • partner with local governments to make sure state housing policy leads to real projects, not just more talk

    • fight for fairer property taxes so rising values do not force people out of their homes

    • protect consumers from unfair medical bills and help keep medical debt from turning into financial crisis

    • protect essential healthcare, mental health, and social services so that as federal funding shrinks, the state does not cut the services people count on

  • Our public lands and clean water are part of what makes Montana home. They belong to all of us, and they must stay that way.

    We can:

    • maintain strong protection for public access to rivers, streams, and public lands

    • oppose privatization and efforts to lock Montanans out of the places they love

    • require clean water protections rooted in science, stewardship, and local values

    • support collaborative conservation that supports wildlife, working lands, and outdoor traditions

    • promote policies that recognize natural resources are directly tied to quality of life, tourism, local economies, and public health

  • Our schools cannot keep doing more with less. Teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff are holding things together, but the state has not done its part. If we want strong schools and real opportunity, we have to invest in the people and systems our kids rely on.

    We can:

    • increase state support for public schools through the general fund and other stable funding sources

    • raise teacher pay so we can attract and keep excellent educators in Montana

    • improve pay, benefits, and job security for paraprofessionals and school staff who support students every day

  • Voting is how people hold government accountable. We should be making it easier for eligible Montanans to vote, not harder. We also need to protect the constitutional rights that keep government in check and stop politicians from passing laws that attack our freedoms and cost taxpayers money to defend.

    We can:

    • protect Montana’s strong voting traditions, including accessible vote-by-mail options

    • oppose unnecessary barriers that make registration or voting harder

    • support elections that are secure, fair, and accessible

    • protect the people’s constitutional power to participate directly in democracy

    • defend privacy, reproductive freedom, and other constitutional rights from political attacks

    • stop unconstitutional laws that undermine our freedoms and waste taxpayer dollars

  • Too many Montanans are working hard and still struggling to keep up. When wages do not match costs, taxes feel unfair, and opportunity is uneven, working families fall further behind. I’m committed to making Montana work for working families.

    We can:

    • have a fairer tax system that does not keep shifting the burden onto working families

    • support stronger workers’ rights, fair pay, and protections on the job

    • advance job growth and community development that help more Montanans find opportunity close to home
